Acoustic improvement for Forum Saint-Louis
The Forum Saint-Louis is a multi-purpose venue for cultural and sporting events. The venue is easily transformed into a party area, gymnasium or foyer for exhibitions, trade shows or conventions. As a result, there were major requirements in terms of acoustics and aesthetics. Given this brief, architectural firm Manuelle Gautrand Architecture set to work.
Acoustic wall & ceiling panels
Organic acoustic wood wool panels were chosen for several walls and ceilings. These have the following properties:
- Acoustics: wood wool reduces the reflection of sound and reverberation to provide greater acoustic comfort.
- Design: the acoustic panels used in the colours of Asphalt, Silicon, Pure and Orange add atmosphere to the room. Thanks to their modular structure, Organic panels allow you to give body to a space and create a unique graphic identity.
Natural elements
The natural components of Organic panels suit an HSE approach. Organic panels are finished with a sunflower oil-based paint and do not emit VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). We confirm the environmental performance of Organic panels with EPDs (Environmental Product Data Sheets).
Wood wool with Color
At 'Het Forum' it was decided to work with different colors to create a beautiful design.
